cynicism...

For the record, I was right.

Honesty is NOT worth it, disappointment hurts regardless of geography or how prepared you are. I'm done with that.

Adding to the cynicism…

Oooh I’m way past that. But at least I killed the elephant.

I've found that honesty is better in the long run, at least for me. Yes there may be some pain but it doesn't last as long as not being honest.
A friend of mine ran into the boyfriend not being honest to her and so she dumped him on her 18th birthday today. That is going to be a lot of hurt for a while.

Sorry to hear things didn't turn out the way you were hoping. I don't imagine I will ever know how hard it is to be a woman.. let alone a woman that is in your line of work. I can only hope that it will all turn out ok.

this i've always thought was important: be true to yourself. if your heart wants to reveal something (or remove an elephant), then let it. maybe it will hurt, maybe it will be joyful, but either way, you've been true to yourself and that's the most important thing.

anyway, keep your chin up babe:)

Sorry you're having a hard time...

I wanted to answer your question regarding Portland. The only thing I really know is that we have more strip bars per capita than any other US city. I like to go to the gay friendly ones (there are quite a few...) The ladies always seem quite happy to see us, and we always have a great time.

was the elephant in your pajama, and how did he/she get in the pajama?

    Sorry ... couldn't resist.

    I totally agree.

Honesty is way overrated. Or am I lying when I say that, or that, or that, or that ....
